Our Team

Owner / Instructor
Min
Min is the owner of Cherry Pole Studio, and has been pole dancing since 2010, and instructing since 2016. She tried many different dance styles but never stuck with any of them until she tried pole after watching a pole competition in 2009. She now competes herself, and is a regular on the Miss Pole Victoria stage, amongst others. Her pole motto is "8 inches or death".
She loves all things 80s and is a crazy cat mum to two adorable fur babies named for her other passion - ancient history/mythology.
Min's favourite thing about teaching is watching students achieve things they never thought possible through dedication, persistence and commitment.

Instructor
JoJo
JoJo was introduced to Pole through a friend (thanks Jess) and started only 8 weeks postpartum after her 2nd baby in 2018. Two weeks later she brought a pole and never looked back.
Her dance style is affectionately known around the studio as 'Jo flow' thanks to her flowy transitions. While she loves a good dance session, some of her favorite tricks are an Iron X and anything Static Dynamic.
As an instructor she is technically focused. With a passion in helping students grow and achieve there pole goals. JoJo loves that Cherry studios has such an inclusive community where students can feel safe and supported, just like a big family.

Reception
Beth
Bethanie started pole in October 2017 after winning a free class. After just a few classes she was completely hooked.
She finds the most rewarding part of pole to be the process of working towards a trick and the sense of accomplishment when she achieves it.
However, what truly makes Cherry Pole Studio special for her is the incredible community and the safe, inclusive, body positive environment and being supported in a space that celebrates everyone. The encouragement, friendships and shared passion create a welcoming and inspiring place that feels like home.

Instructor
Bec
Bec has been a pole instructor since 2019, and has been passionate about fitness, dance and performing for most of her life. She started pole dancing as a fun way of increasing her fitness, but it quickly grew into one of her strongest passions. She loves how pole dancing provides a fun way of getting fit while also helping build self-confidence and body positivity. Bec loves to work with students of all abilities to help them reach their body’s potential.

Instructor
Jen
Jen started her pole journey in May 2018. Jen has a passion for creating and loves strength combos while bringing a lyrical style from her dance background. Jen thrives in a personalised teaching style, working with her students to bring out their potential and unique style.
Cherry has inherited a fantastic community of dedicated students and staff that support each other and grow together.

Reception
Fenia
Fenia started her pole journey in 2018 after joining a stretch class to open up her hips and strengthen her splits. Not long after, she tried her first pole class — and was hooked. She felt strong, empowered, and part of an amazing community. After taking time off for pregnancy and navigating postpartum challenges through lockdown, she returned to pole in 2022. Since then, it’s become an essential part of her life — her therapy, fitness, happiness, and community at Cherry Pole Studio.
